This is a new exhibition produced by Alison McGann of Valley and Vale Community Arts with local people to celebrate the characters who live in our community. New Light is a project which involved various groups of people of all ages throughout the Bridgend Borough. The photographs in the exhibition are about identity and show a portrait of each person above an image of an object that reflects the personality of the person who is in the portrait. The aim of New light is to work with local people to create positive images of the people and places of our area.
This exhibition and has been developed in collaboration with Bridgend County Borough Council Arts and Culture Services and will be showcased in Bridgend Town Centre on the 17th December from 4.30pm.
