For the very first time in Wales Pineapple Performing Arts School are leading a week long summer programme in Street dance and musical theatre for young people at Rubicon Dance in Cardiff.
Who for? Young people aged 14-18 years who have considerable dance experience and are looking for a challenging week of non stop dance led by two Pineapple Dance teachers direct from Covent Garden in London.
Entry is by audition only. This will take place at Rubicon Dance on SUNDAY MAY 18th. The audition will consist of a one hour street dance class led by Carlos Neto. We are expecting to be over subscribed for our Pineapple summer week so it is essential that you register for this audition by calling Rubicon Dance on 02920 491477 or 02920 436331. You will then be given a time slot for the audition.
Cost for the week:
£150.00
£120.00 (special rate for young people already on Rubicon’s Young Dancer Programme)
Young dancers will follow a programme in street dance and musical theatre. The musical theatre course consists of vocal training, and dance and drama classes based on popular musicals such as Chicago and Billy Elliott.
The street dance course will include classes in hip hop, locking, body popping and commercial street dance (MTV style)
