Cynefin (Ku-nevin), from the Welsh for habitat/heartland, is a non-profit organization governed by a board of trustees. Its aim is to develop applied participative arts training, projects and performances with communities throughout the world that help access a ‘being’ mode rather than a ‘doing’ and ‘having’ mode. So that there can be a new appreciation of oneself and one's life and a deep sense of wellbeing and connectedness. Its core methodology is Sensory Labyrinth Theatre which we are finding has a very powerful healing and transformational effect on participants and in particular young people on the threshold of adulthood.
